Fashion vs Sport Part 2

It has taken me a while but I have finally gotten round to posting my second part of fashion with trainers. My first post you can read here which is wearing trainers fit for purpose with a gym outfit and includes the discussion on whether wearing make up to the gym is a bad thing or not. Today is all about building trainers into a fashionable look. Trainers are becoming even more popular with regards to everyday looks, and I'm not talking about converse here I'm talking about trainers you would normally workout in. Andy over at Style Scrapbook posts her ootd's regularly including a pair of comfortable trainers but instead of looking like she's going to gym she looks stylish and on trend.

With my look I have gone for a casual everyday look perfect for winter. Now, I'm not normally one who goes for trainers with everyday outfits but I wanted to push myself to give it a go and I am definitely going to be doing it again. My feet felt like they were in heaven all day because of the lovely sponge innersole of the trainer. I don't really do completely dressed down, so I still wanted to add a bit of glam and my vintage leather skirt made me feel ladylike and not tomboyish. I have also been wearing these collar clips allllll the time (think I need to get a some others so I have a selection) because they just add that little something extra to an outfit.
