On Saturday I got to be part of a first. It was the first birthday celebration for little Annabella and Sarah is the first girl out of my group of friends to have a baby so it is the first birthday celebration for her as a mum. The party included s bouncy castle, blow up slide, jenga, a ball pit and of course not forgetting lots of lovely cake. Sarah's sister was there with her little man Ben along with Natalie and the beautiful Grace. It was a perfect excuse for all of my best girl friends from school to get together and goo and gaa at all the tiny people around us. Of course I did not waste the opportunity to take some outfit pictures along with a whole load of general lifestyle photos. I have added a few lifestyle photos at the end including ones for you to goo and gaa at.

Claire's outfit fits in perfectly with the monochrome trend at the moment and her slipper looking shoes with studs on give an edge that suits her personality perfectly. The dress compliments her figure by pulling her in at the waist and adding a girly float with the skater dress look.

Louise, although you can't really tell is the next one out of our group to be expecting a baby. Her stunning lace top has enough detail that she kept everything else simple and it works perfectly. Pippa's jumpsuit has summer written all over it and her choice of shoes and cardigan help bring out the colours in the flower print.

With my outfit I used it as an excuse to get this tea dress out I have had since I was 18 (It's 9 years old and still fits so was a bit chuffed about that) and only worn a few times. I wanted go for a summery feel and the floral cherry print seemed to fit perfectly.

Annabella's outfit was so cute and the Next clothing range for children is just adorable. Sarah and Kev did such an amazing job with the party. Pippa made the birthday cake which was so pretty and tasted lovely. Sarah's mum made the gorgeous cupcakes I ended up having two tut tut. The other two littlen's in the pictures are Ben and Grace who I mentioned above. Their pictures were to cute not to include. When the cake came out and we sang happy birthday to Annabella and all clapped she started clapping with use it was so adorable.
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, did you keep up to anything exciting?
